ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Can you imagine if Newcastle or Everton were paying 80 mill plus add ons for him. It would be seen as grotesque, destroying the transfer market etc. Effectively when some clubs spend big it’s fine, but there’s something wrong with other clubs doing it. That’s the PL now.
Klopp's Liverpool don't spend money. Apart from £80m on Nunez, £42m on Diaz, £36m on Konate, £40m on Jota, £20m on Thiago, £56m on Allison...

... £54m on Keita, £40m on Fabinho, £76m on van Dijk, £37m on Salah, £34m on Oxlade-Chamberlain, £37m on Mane, £25m on Wijnaldum.

I've left a fair few out too.

Yeah, but they earned that money "the right way"

(If the right way is being part of the G6/9/12 which has blackmailed EUFA every 2 years since 1993 to constantly change the rules so that they get easier acces to, and a much bigger share of the pie while true league champions from countries such as Sweden, Greece and Belgium are left in the wilderness wondering what ever had happened to fair competition)

It's not that they don't spend big on buying players. It's that they can't compete on wages now. Do keep up.
