It's great isn't it. liverpool went from needing a last minute of the season Allison goal just to finish top 4 last season to having a chance to win the league on the last day this season. A chance that came about because Man City thought it would be cool to play without a centre forward.
liverpool fans get all excited that they might win it next season, so Man City just go and spend half a billion pounds on the worlds best centre forward. Liverpool respond by forking out a couple of hundred million on some guy that had one decent season in a farmers league.

Part of the reason Everton have wasted so much money is there is no such thing as a bargain nowadays. I would love to know at what rate transfer fees and wages have gone up since City were taken over. I bet there has never been a rise like it previously.
