ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Unreal

Imagine being tasked with writing that.
Most people work the vast majority of their life up until the age of 65 when they can enjoy their retirement. Footballers work up to the age of what 35? Then retire able to live the rest of their life in absolute luxury and care free. What an utter joke of an article.

Oh and if they don’t get a holiday why are they always instagramming Dubai and Marbella whenever they get a break of more than about a week?

was speaking to my dad last night, he's a spurs fan and 69 years old. He went to Madrid on a coach which took 25 hours each way with his mate who is about 50 and his mates 2 kids of 11 and 9. After the game, which Liverpool won (obvs) they were walking back to the coach which was a fair walk away and they came across a bunch of RS 'fans'. My dads mate shouted something like 'you were lucky' to the group of RS, next thing he knew he was laid out smashing his head on the curb, unconscious, his 2 kids and my dad watching on in horror. Luckily the RS ran off rather than giving him a good kicking too!

My dad only just told me even though it was months ago cos hes been having as hard time with it, having nightmares, thinking what could have happened. His mate came round and they got back on the coach as the Spanish police didn't want to know and were more likely to give them a baton than chase after the RS. So for 25 hours my dad was sitting there terrified his mate would have concussion, or a blood clot or something, meanwhile looking after 2 terrified kids who just watched their dad get a smack.

Nice!

Absolute, total and utter scumbags! I hope your Dad's friend has recovered. And his two sons too. What sh#thouses the Spanish Police are for doing nothing.

There's always a nasty atmosphere in Liverpool City Centre after an RS home game. Woebetide any Everton, City or United fan etc wandering into a mass of those neanderthals.

They can basically retire in their early 20s and still live a life of luxury. Even rubbish EPL players are on at least £10,000 a week. That would set any of us up for life as long as we were relatively sensible.
Sad world we live in where some players "earn" more in a few hours than NHS nurses make in a year. :(

“Oh look we’ve won a Mickey Mouse trophy. Better go on an Everton forum now”.

Proper, proper weirdos like. It’s almost as if they don’t have anyone to celebrate with/gloat at in their real lives....
Very strange bunch arent they?Win something and the 1st thing is go on other teams forums looking for validation, imagine your life being so devoid of anything that you have to do that

My brother's a United fan (don't ask) who lives in Kirkdale. He used to have a season ticket but had to give it up so now, when he doesn't go to the game, and wants to watch in the pub he takes a train to Manchester. Simply because he's never managed to watch a United game in a pub without some gobby pr!ck having a go or worse. And it's not like he's stood up on the bar chanting and waving a scarf around.

Why doesn't he just go The Brick?
