ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

H
This is a nothing trophy, we all know that. But it’s held every year and until that’s not the case every club in Europe would love to be in it, and if you’re in it you want to win it.

I’d far rather it had been a walk in the park, and especially rather it hadn’t gone to extra time, but I’ll take a win on penalties after a gruelling game over losing it.
Hey @cronullasharks , fella, i see we are both hitting this egg , we almost neighbours bro, should catch a beer sometime and really give him some

Kind of want to get them at Wembley in a semi or final to test the jaws of some of their fans like the fountain pusher and fanta scruff.

Only if they try to be funny or have their "banter" like.

Beating them at Wembley would be fantastic. I'm a pessimist though when it comes to Derby games. Too much heartbreak over the years.
Would rather they get knocked out at the first opportunity.
Come on Everton! Prove me wrong. The fans deserve at least one win against them this season. Don't care if it's a sly 1-0, offside, 98th minute handball winner or a thumping 4-0. Just lets beat Murder FC.

That performance against Chelsea shows they're vulnerable - as well as losing the second half against Norwich 1-0.

Conceding 20 shots in the last two games too I believe, could be a difficult season for them.

I hope you're right. The fact that they've signed no decent players, exhausted their existing ones and have a very packed schedule should stop them repeating last season.
But I still don't trust Everton when it comes to Derby games. Haven't been to one since Biter got Rodwell sent off in 2011. Won't even watch them on TV.
Southampton are a slight step up from Norwich so will hopefully take 3 points. A few more injuries for the RS and it will be a good weekend.

Southampton never turn up against Liverpool. Them an Bournemouth are part of the south coast kopite alliance that roll over for them every single time.

Both derbies where a strong progression from what I've seen. Bit nervy but played much better than previously. If Kean can add goals we should bury 1 or 2 chances against them.

You're mostly right. But they did knock Liverpool out of the League Cup in 2017. They won both semi-final legs 1-0. Southampton have won at Mordor at lot more recently than we have :(
