on R4 yesterday they ran a short piece on it and said there happened to be an IT expert in the throngs who was locked out and he gave his opinion on the reason for the supposed IT issue with the ticketing system. Playing on the IT expert bit, without qualifying why he was an IT expert (acknowledged or self proclaimed) or what field of IT he was an expert in and completely overlooking the fact he was a Liverpool fan and therefore horrifically biased. Any expert who is that close to a subject cannot opine on it as they are not independent and impartial; they cannot be objective. Utter whitewash and it will be repeated again and one of the times it is repeated again, people will die as a result.

I saw him on the TV news. Clearly, any professional expertise he had was given further credence and gravitas by his 'RP' home counties accent - i.e. not yer typical gimlet-eyed, ready for a nark RS. No further clarification was sought about the reported 2,500 forged tickets. Of course.
