If Byrne spent a fraction of his time, focus and effort on the real issues affecting his constituents instead of white knighting every perceived “wrong” done to his footy team and it’s fans, he would be a more than decent mp, and probably wouldn’t be in the process of being deselected by the party.

He's a committee member of Spirit of Shankly....which he spends most of his time on by the looks of it...and he can take up more of a role there when he's punted by Starmers lot.

Never fear though, I'm sure his mate Rotherham can wangle him a paid role in the organisation he steals a living from - The Liverpool City Region mayors office.

During Covid they were allowed 2000 fans for a home game and they had to have a Liverpool Postcode, they put a post on the official site that season ticket holders in this scenario had just over a 1 in 2 chance of getting one in the ballot, doing the maths it worked out that they had around 5000 season ticket holders with a Liverpool Postcode.
