ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Some history lessons from a kopite on bbc HYS hoping to be taken over by a sovereign state:

There isn’t a nation in the world that hasn’t got a history of human rights violations

Christopher Columbus (Italian) was sponsored by the Catholic Monarchs of Spain, & the European exploration and colonisation of the Americas.

He was the first known European contact with the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.

Ending in the genocide of the peaceful Arawaks of the Caribbean islands.

they are so utterly weird

the greatest man of those times (de las Casas) once wrote "It should be kept in mind that their insatiable greed and ambition, the greatest ever seen in the world, is the cause of their villainies" which is perhaps an appropriate quote at the moment

Mukesh Ambani ($91 billion net worth) is supposed to have bid £3 billion last april with other bids in 17,18 and 21, apparently he's the only bidder so far right now (Twitter), with FFP dead in the water and the Saudi's in the PL and a world recession it's no surprise they want to cash out to buy a NBA team.

NBA are adding two expansion teams, one in Las Vegas and the other in Seattle, FSG and Lebron (he's a FSG shareholder) are rumoured to be buying the Las Vegas team.

The French police and UEFA were right about you lot.

FSG/RS finances are not all that apparently. As in, the cost (interest) of owning the club has gone a bit bonkers, stateside. Thats before you even look at the stuff like wages, recruitment, net (haha) spend, ground development.

A "distressed asset" was one comment earlier.

They, FSG, will make a bomb if they off load it, obvs, but the pool of potential buyers is, again, apparently, compromised.

From whispers its felt that FSG feel LFC have hit their peak commercially, with a recession incoming its hats to squeeze additional revenue out.

The general assumption seems to be American owners are flocking to the PL. Henry is a natural contrarian and has probably looked at it and taken the other side of that flip, and gambled that the capital can probably be put to better use elsewhere. Objectively its hard not to have some sympathy with this view.

It looks as if theyve reflected that their model, however successful has hit a bit of an end point now.

Can the BBC be anymore up the hoop of these cretins? Seems like every third article on their football page is about them. Lacking on the pitch so lets bump them in the media, sickening.
Watched BBC news yesterday morning they spoke to the sports reporter he started with Arsenal were back to the top of the league then straight on to them saying reports of there demise was premature showing there goals and then the obligatory interview with Klopp.

The love in is so obvious, which for any other outlet would be fine. You can rim whomever you want I guess. The BBC however take a license fee from the whole country. The sooner that archaic rubbish is binned off the better.

The obligatory interview thing with Klopp thing is sooooo annoying, a lot of the media will run comments from him about anything, it's like his is the go to voice of the people

Will make a massive profit and use that to fund the new NHL team they have acquired. Which will guarantee a profit year on year while sticking with LFC is a gamble depending on success.

Bought it for 300 million and sell for 4 billion is great success for FSG.

Looks like the owners of AC Milan want to increase its 10% and take full control of LFC

My mistake it was April 2021, these links say the sole bid was from the Middle East (Mukesh Ambani is based in Dubai).

All these links are dated April 2021.

Are you sheikhing with excitement at the thought of an oil takeover?
