ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Sitting on the train listening to two RS talking today, or should I say moaning? From their conversation I got that their owners have not funded them and they have no chance of competing against teams like City, United, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Spurs, who all have huge backing? In fact, it is a miracle, and praise to Klopp, that they have even been able to stay with City for as long as they have as they have spent very little (lol). Now, according to them, Klopp is the best manager in the world (lol) the club is worth 4 billion, so Klopp should tell the owners to back him or sell the club (lol) then, they will have funds to buy Bellingham for upwards of 150 Million, and it would leave money to spend building a team as that has been lacking over the past decade (lol) Bellingham will join them as he will prefer them over City or any other club, plus he is mates with Liverpool players, Plus Dortmund will not sell to city (Haaland?) and Klopp is mates with Dortmund, plus why would he choose City over RS (lol) They went on to describe Bellingham as the best young talent in the world (in der werld for lurkers) and that he was exactly the same a Gerrard, and Gerrard was the best midfielder during his time (lol) They went on to say that City and Newcastle should both be investigated? Chelsea should be docked points as the Russian clearly still is in charge (lol) Everton should be investigated, docked points, even relegated, as they broke fair play rules, spent money, and they also have a Russian who is clearly still involved lol (there ya go Lurkers ya bitter gits) Oh, and that stadium needs pulling down and the dock put back the way it was as it is 'Erry tidge' lol. Of course, the 'Everyone is against them' was mentioned, nothing goes there way, and best of all is they should just write off this season with all the cheating going on to stop them winning lol. All this from two guys who looked to be in their 50s lol. And they call us deluded ha ha. This tale of woe and fantasy made my journey just fly by.
Where was this?

Just saw a Hyundai advert about climate change featuring a voiceover from Mr. Personality, Steven Gerrard. What Marketing team thinks Steven Gerrard would be a good brand ambassador? Lol.

He's perfect to talk about global warming. The amount of hot air that spouts from his smug grid could melt the polar ice caps before you could say 'No premiership medals'...

Whats going on there? Edwards gone, his replacement Ward going in June too.

I would surmise that they know what's coming in terms of the ownership, finances and perhaps the backlash.

Their (the RS's) model has been on fairly shrewd acquisitions counter-acted by somehow selling their players (good, and not so) for big bucks.

With more top teams now in the market against their ageing squad, with a weakened midfield, the job of meeting the fans' expectations is even more difficult.

FGS aren't going to invest big bucks on revitalising the squad if they're looking to sell up, so the pressure is ranked up even further. It's not all doom and gloom.

But you know what their fans are like, so maybe the likes of Ward and Graham feel it's time to go before they're tarred with the potential decline.

I watched that BBC Wales programme about Toshack last night.

Interesting story I wasn't aware of. He was interviewed and accepted as the next Liverpool manager in the early 80s because Paisley told the LFC board he was stepping down. Toshack had all but wrapped up his duties at Swansea where he was manager and then was told by the Liverpool board Paisley had changed his mind last minute because "he wanted to top up his pension for a few more seasons".

What an utter scumbag that Paisley was: punching pensioners and reneging on deals.
