ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Ok, ive watched this 5 or 6 times now, why was it disallowed?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Didnt watch the game, did they explain why?

I didn’t watch, but I THINK the “offside” comes before any of this footage. When the corner is played in, it’s headed clear back out to the corner taker, and I think that’s when the “offside” comes. But apparently no camera angle to confirm the dodgey onfield call so decision stood ????

some are commenting that the corner taker was offside earlier in the move, making it up as they go along with howler back togo, when to flag or not to flag, check the Salah goal which was a much simpler offside call that went in their favour. I am getting sickened by this farce

Yeah it's given offside against the corner taker, after the Wolves number 11 heads the ball (backwards or forwards, it doesnt matter what direction the ball goes in) the corner taker is deemed to be offside. It's common that corner takers often fail to get back onside in time when the ball comes back to them.

However, look at this pic below. You can just see the corner takers head at the bottom of the screen. The wolves number 11 has just headed the ball (unfortunately Nunes doesn't come into shot the exact moment he heads it but its literally a split second after).

You can also see the linesman legs at the top of the picture.

Then look at where "Trent" is.

Now it's a possibility that if Nunes was sprinting full speed from being offside about 2 yards deeper when the ball was headed then he is now a split second later he could have been offside. But it's very doubtful i'd say.

Plus regardless of if he was or not, there's no way in hell the linesman can tell from his angle, he should be in line with TAA but is in a poor position so he's either guessed badly, or was just wrong.

But IF there is no better angle then they couldn't overule it on VAR with this. And IF there isn't a better angle thats disgraceful from the FA/PGMOL or whoever is in charge for not ensuring that there is 100% coverage of the pitch.

GIF of the above image. I only had YouTube and a GIF maker app and could see it was never offside in a million years. You didn’t need “another angle” or a VAR studio to see that. Corrupt to their core.

Only saw that a few mins ago. Another disgrace. Not a complaint either by the usual RS faux mob squad. Says it all.

It’s not even close to offside, it would be laughable if it wasn’t so blatantly corrupt.
Var can get in the bin, there’s no coming back from this garbage tonight.

I'm sure we were being repeatedly told how the linesman was "very experienced", as if to suggest he is highly competent. The position of TAA makes me think he's just guessed and VAR have just found an out. Unless he's ridiculously incompetent. There is no need for him to get involved, seeing as VAR is there to do the job for him.

I’ve just seen the salah goal. Was clearly offside when the pass was made. The offside rule is garbage. And Danny Murphy actually spoke some sense about it.

And for the wolves offside, they said they had to go with the onfield decision. Yet the linesman didn’t even flag
