ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Has to play the required propaganda card after every game. All their managers do ‘we controlled the game’ ‘we were dominant’ ‘we had so many chances’ ‘they had long balls and set pieces’ ‘they got lucky’ ‘it was the ref’ - just throw out any combination of those but a Liverpool manager doesn’t often come out and say ‘we deserved to lose and they were the better team than us and we didn’t play well’
Mentioned this before but I remember them getting walloped 5-1 by Villa in 1977 I think(I’m sure it was 5-1 at half time!!!)cuddly old uncle Bob gave Villa no credit whatsoever and bemoaned the RS luck that night,it’s ingrained in their culture to act that classless way.

Why are people saying it was dodgy VAR and how it should be got rid of cos it's bent?

It wasn't VAR that disallowed the goal! It was the linesman! VAR actually spent some time seeing if it could overturn the officials on the pitch.

It's there's corruption there it's the old fashioned one of the on field officials surely ?

I seem to be one of them few that hasn't got a problem with what happened, not a chance Liverpool want another game with the stretched squad and Wolves need to concentrate on the league, it's the worst result for both

Prefer it when they just go out to be honest. Look how they scraped their way through to two trophies last season despite playing awfully at times. Could have gone out numerous times and didn’t even score in the finals. The sooner they’re out the better.

I do agree but there so bad this season, the race to get into Europe again is going to take priority during the later rounds

Don’t think any of us have a problem with wolves and the rs having to replay - it’s the next best thing after a wolves win like you say, more games that neither want, but we can’t accept and be fine with what the officials and VAR did to rule out the wolves winner.

If you haven’t got a problem with what happened then you shouldn’t be following footy.

Its match fixing, corruption and bias and is the ruination of the game - the blatant city hand ball not given against us was a disgrace and last night was as bad.

The silence from the media and pgmol today about the clear corruption has been shocking.

Wolves will get an apology, a pat on the head and we all carry on as usual.

Oh it’s RadioStar talking crap as usual.

Forgive my ignorance but I'm somewhat confused. I thought after they won the league* they were back on their perch? However, games like this and their current league position lead me to believe that may not be the case ?.

I remember when we beat the RS in the Andy King derby ,beating them after a 7 year wait. Ray Clemence said 'it won't take us 7 years to beat them again'. What a sad comment it was at the time, but about right for a sad club no matter how many trinkets they've won.
