ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It's never been about Hillsborough from Merseyside. Liverpool fans know Evertonians don't and wouldnt sing about it. But the chant was created and started by man United supporters. If it was created by evertonians you'd be confident it wasn't a Hillsborough reference. Because it was started by them I wouldnt be too sure.

After the Vera incident it seems when declaring Suarez innocent.

Anyway, as you’re a fully paid up member of the cult, I really really CBA discussing this with you. We’ll get nowhere.

Why are people saying it was dodgy VAR and how it should be got rid of cos it's bent?

It wasn't VAR that disallowed the goal! It was the linesman! VAR actually spent some time seeing if it could overturn the officials on the pitch.

It's there's corruption there it's the old fashioned one of the on field officials surely ?
Linesman flagged on the refs say so, if linesman was to blame he would be stood facing the pitch flag raised, the linesman wasn't when it went in he had begun to stride back to the halfway, his flag wasn't raised until the sly gesture from the ref, then he flagged, on the refs say so,referee is the man in charge linesman followed orders, IF there is corruption it isn't the fan player managers instigating it is it, they might play the dark arts of the game to win a free kick pen or to foul others they aren't the men in charge or in the var room.the refs linesman 4th officials var studio officials are the men in charge of the running of the game and the fa are the ones in charge of them. The fa want an order of things followed to keep the revenue streams up and the officials carry this out, fans of every club at grounds watching on TV thousands of people see the bad decisions weekly some clubs more than others get the rub of the green too often, the fa are either in on it or are oblivious to it or are plain ignorant to how bad refs in the prem are,if the fa weren't involved in any sort of wrong doing and paid attention to the clowns officiating and what thousands see and tv cameras record they would drag the officials over the coals and get rid of them , and employ new officials there are referees all over Europe who can officiate games better than these puppets.

It’s not even close to offside, it would be laughable if it wasn’t so blatantly corrupt.
Var can get in the bin, there’s no coming back from this garbage tonight.

After the City game I think everyone realised that VAR is corrupt. Nobody minds honest mistakes that referees made in the past with regards to offsides. Had the ref not given us a penalty against City before VAR, I'd of been angry, however honest mistakes even themselves out such as our semi final against City in 2016, they should of got a pen in the first leg. The Rodri mistake wasn't that, they simply couldn't let us get a draw after City got their jammy goal. The same with the RS, it didn't fit the script for Wolves to have come back twice to beat the RS, so it had to be stopped, same as why our goal against United was chalked off. I've given up really with it now, what's the point fans who do go honest work paying large amounts to go to games, to have the outcome decided by corrupt officials.

For me the Salah goal is worse....makes a total nonsense of the offside rule....dont see how Coady's goal in the Derby is offside if this isn't..

The defender doesn’t play the ball, if Salah isn’t behind him.

How they’ve decided those rules, are truly bewildering.

The VAR had a mare at Wolves expense there. Imagine if that was in the league and that cost Wolves their league status.

It’s inexcusable.

According to Dale Johnson at Espn (who I would say is most up on the laws of the game and var protocols) there was a change in the wording for this situation this season and it should have been offside.

No shock there is it?

But just when it suits Liverpool.

It's funny how unintentionally touching the ball is being used when suits.
The “clear and obvious” get out of jail card is a pathetic joke as well - ahhhhh, the refs made an “honest” mistake but it wasn’t clear so we won’t correct the bad decision?!? Laughable.

I’m not saying all refs are not honest, but there is unconscious bias in all humans, relating to many things, and this bias will affect their decisions on the football pitch without them realising, and that’s without the conscious bias that they will all have.

VAR has been ruined and corrupted by the crooks running the game - the technology can’t lie, but people can.

That article is full of inconsistencies & twaddle - it’s bent, and being used incorrectly - they should just come out and report that instead of trying to justify clearly corrupt calls and decisions.

Super Trent is playing the corner taker on side and watch no other goals like salahs being given for the rest of the season - it’s absolute bunkum.

We know that, everyone else knows that, apart from the mutants on rawk who are still posting that we sing about Hillsborough at the derby games. It is incredible that they believe what they actually write. You would think with almost everyone having a mobile phone these days that at least one video would have emerged by now of us nasty bluenoses singing about Hillsborough, but still we wait.

The authorities have messed about with an offside rule that didn’t need changing. In this particular case (Salah), years ago, the linesman would have flagged immediately, but now, for reasons beyond my understanding, they wait and wait and wait before flagging. I hate this ’second phase’ nonsense. If you’re in an offside position when the ball is played forward, you’re offside, whether the ball is anywhere near you or not

Second phase is pointless for me, unless the linesman is unsure.

Why have a player who’s 5 yards offside, continue the play, waste everyone’s time and potential cause injuries? It’s weird.

How can a play be interfering with play so much so that they cause someone to make a mistake, and not be judged to be “active”. Make it up as they go along I feel!

Uncle Bob reckoned we celebrated like we’d won the European Cup???

What a vintage RS titty lip retort. Herbert Klopp may follow the RS template for such comments but at least he upped the ante and complimented us as celebrating like we'd won the World Cup.

Petty little oul arses arent they and the usual irony by-pass considering Klopp regularly rips up their turf dancing like an acrobat thrown out of the Wine Lodge.
