Newcastle don’t win often without Guimaraes who will once again be missing for their game against Liverpool just as he was in the reverse fixture.

This is the fortnight it all goes wrong for Newcastle, a loss incoming in the Carabao final then a home loss to Liverpool as the top 4 slips away.

The only times I can really remember them running into a team smack in form and fitness was the two CL finals against Madrid.

Every other time it always seems to be they’re playing someone at the peak of their injury crisis or the lowest point of form they’ve had all season.

Even this season they played the Newcastle B team at their place, us without DCL twice, Newcastle without Guimaraes Willock and Wilson this weekend, Spurs without Son Richarlison Kulisevski away, Chelsea with Felix banned, Brentford without Toney (although they still lost that), Brighton without McCallister and Caicedo (although managed to mess that up too)

I’ve never known a club like it.
 

Absolutely amazes me the lack of accountability from the likes of Rotherham and the West Derby MP fella regarding the forged tickets and Herr Klippety actively encouraging them to travel in numbers to Paris,the authorities over reacted yes,but come on,with what was learnt at hillsborough,they should be the first set of fans to be 100% aware of the implications.

I’m sure those who knowingly bought those forged tickets will be seeking compensation for their distress in taking someone else’s seat.

I work on the city and there were loads on our place who went and knowingly acquired forgeries for the game,I even heard a kid in Paris being interviewed on radio Merseyside in the run up to it saying he didn't have a ticket but had a forgery 😳

I genuinely think that's how a lot of them think now.

They get some perverse enjoyment out of a tragedy that happened before most of them were born.

It also stopped some of their great teams as well, and killed any momentum they had. But that's irrelevant when you can get a few edgy laughs. Weird bunch.
