ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It’s not an incorrect assumption when it keeps happening is it.

They did turn up without tickets, they did try to scale barriers, they did try to get in the stadium without tickets.

The French police stopped a stadium disaster from happening precisely because they knew what that feral lot are like based on past behaviour.

There’d be a very different report being written if casualties had occurred and the French police admitted to not basing any of their response scenarios on that fanbases history of troublemaking both home and abroad.
I think we can all imagine that scenario.

"Where were the officers of law and order? How could they have allowed a situation where hundreds and hundreds of ticketless fans could climb a perimeter fence and threaten the lives of others in the stadium there legitimately? The French police need to provide the victim's families with answers"

BBC live feed of tonight's matches absolving them of any blame, they mention Hillsborough but not Heysel, funny that. I personally know 8 lads who all went over with fake tickets, re writing history in front of our eyes here.

I suspect any effort to try and attribute some blame to them will be shut down by the establishment club as @davek rightly calls them.
There was fans on Twitter boasting about bunking in, every time they get away with this stuff it just encourages them

Totally exonerating them against all visual evidence is one thing - sadly, I half expected that - but this lauding of their exemplary behaviour saving the day sticks violently in my craw I have to say.

Of course, now they have been enabled once again in such spectacular fashion, they'll do it again with impunity. It's like exonerating Harold Shipman while giving him an MBE for not killing any young people...
You don't trash the product, you praise the product.
The rs are (part of) product - the product is the key to the money.
UEFA are just 'Admin'.
The product is not at fault.
There was an 'Admin malfunction'

The most ridiculous admission in that report is that there was an assumption on the part of the authorities in all their guises that Liverpool fans would be up for hooliganism. That was then linked to the false assumption that those same authorities would have thought that Liverpool fans were responsible for Hillsborough.

Now that is as bogus an explanation of the high alert for Paris as you can get. No organisation in 2022 would ever assume Liverpool fans would be a problem because of what happened at Hillsborough - it just wasn't hooligan related.

No, the elephant in the drawing room was Heysel. The word they mention in passing three times (and unrelated to the security preparations for that final).

They prepared for that final with a Heysel scenario in mind and also with their Athens and Madrid finals in mind. That's the truth of the matter. And they were cowed into not mentioning their [previous in European finals.

Well they better make good on their enhanced filtering and digital ticketing recommendations by the next time that lot are in one of their finals because the Kopites will see the absolution of their night's rioting in Paris as a green light to pour tens of thousands of ticketless fans onto the concourses and next time there'll be no resorting to the nuclear option of ordering riot police to force them back to prevent a catastrophe.

Yet another LFC led news story on itv Granada reports, this time with former RS chairman Martin Broughton about overseas billionaires not wanting to buy Northern clubs......err Newcastle are very southern aren't they?

It's their birthright. They believe that. They can do whatever they like. But football fans know.
I spoke to a Spurs fan today, he mentioned the super league, thing I said we hate them. He asked 'who's 'we'?'
I said 'Everton'.
He replied 'We like Everton, proper club. We hate Liverpool, everything wrong with the game is Liverpool'.
We parted as friends.
