ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The UK Anti-doping agency performs about 2000 tests per season on Premier League players, and every player must have an Athlete Biological Passport. How do you suppose they have all managed to avoid this?

COYB!

John.

Lance never failed a drug test either.

It’s well known that drug testing in sport is usually miles behind the curve in terms of what the leading dopers are up to in terms of finding that edge.

So they're not using banned substances, and not doping.

COYB!

COYB isn't necessary. It's not like having to write YMCA on every post at rawk.

Can’t wait to see Firmino become yet another ex red player who’s form & performances nosedive off a cliff for whoever he signs for next, at weirdly, exactly at the same time when his access to kloppozade is cut off?!

How can people not see it?

WC middle of the season, increased testing so cycle off the jurgenjuice = squad challenging in all competitions to this shambles of a team in a few months?

“They can’t be doping, they would have been caught by now” - give ya heads a wobble.

His form and performances have already fallen off a cliff, which is why he wasn't selected for the world cup.

Which "jurgenjuice" do you think they have which produces such instant results?

Remember when Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams went from looking like conference players to bossing PL strikers in the run in during 20/21 when they had to win nearly all their games to get top 4. Where are either of them now? How odd they found their career what form for a few months just when it was needed and not before or since.

How’s Minamino Origi Wijnaldum Shaqiri getting on? All these players so good for Liverpool who just can’t seem to reach the same levels for any other club.

Behave mate - he got injured after Shippmann did what he always does and ran his legs off, as he has done with a few other players and this linked to the cycling off has resulted in Firmino/the rests drop off in performances and results.

The pattern is almost exactly the same as Dortmund, it’s to conincidental to not be doping/Peds/kloppozade involved.

I agree with that
as he has done with a few other players
I agree with that too
and this linked to the cycling off has resulted in Firmino/the rests drop off in performances and results.
That's not how they work though

True
it’s to conincidental to not be doping/Peds/kloppozade involved.
Again, that's not how they work

As I have said before, I don't doubt that they (and others) are on PEDs, there is too much money involved for the sport to be squeeky clean, but PEDs do not produce instant results, and cycling off them doesn't produce instant drops in performance

They are clearly not traditional peds that they are using - it’s the spezialbrau and inhalers jurgen implements that drive the performance enhancement and subsequent drop off when he withdraws it - the pattern is there.

Genuine question this but I suspect I already know the answer. Why are you so determined the RS are on 'roids' (despite being absolutely crap) but not the likes of City and Arsenal (good)? It's just a proper weird hook to hang your hat on.
Plus it's not only the roids. 12% of the world's population is estimated to suffer from asthma. The RS at one point had a squad in which 63% of players 'suffered' from asthma. The fact that this entitled them to use inhalers which could significantly enhance VO2max and thus their endurance coincides very neatly with a very endurance-heavy playing style.

The thing is also that a very specific method has to be developed to detect doping compounds. And in the compunds themselves you don't have to change a lot to make them undetectable for these methods. In some cases just a adding a methyl group to an anabolic steroid makes it undetectable for assays that would have caught the unaltered steroid.

Also, they have a lot of clever people who can set up a nice testosterone cycle that significantly boosts performance without reaching threshold levels for detection.

A very famous case for this is FC Bayern's Leon Goretzka:

On the left is Leon in May 2019. On the right is Leon in May 2020. The transformation took place during a one-month (!) Covid break. Here's a trained athlete who just out of nowhere puts on ginormous amounts of bulk in his mid twenties in an insanely short time period. No positive doping test turns up. They are always one or two steps ahead.

Edit: Of course, other Bayern players bulked up as well. They won the Champion's League that season...
