ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The thing is also that a very specific method has to be developed to detect doping compounds. And in the compunds themselves you don't have to change a lot to make them undetectable for these methods. In some cases just a adding a methyl group to an anabolic steroid makes it undetectable for assays that would have caught the unaltered steroid.

Also, they have a lot of clever people who can set up a nice testosterone cycle that significantly boosts performance without reaching threshold levels for detection.

A very famous case for this is FC Bayern's Leon Goretzka:

On the left is Leon in May 2019. On the right is Leon in May 2020. The transformation took place during a one-month (!) Covid break. Here's a trained athlete who just out of nowhere puts on ginormous amounts of bulk in his mid twenties in an insanely short time period. No positive doping test turns up. They are always one or two steps ahead.

Edit: Of course, other Bayern players bulked up as well. They won the Champion's League that season...
The picture you stated is from 2019 is actually from 2018. For comparison here is a picture from 2019 along side your 2020 picture. As you can see the progress is not as drastic, and could easily be achieved under direction of professional nutritionists and physical trainers. The transformation you claimed took 'one month' was actually two years.

Couldn’t help yourself could you John! 🤣🤣 sniff sniff.

I don't need to subscribe to a conspiracy theory or be a conforming sheep to be an Everton fan. Unfortunately some on here (you) appear to believe you do. It's unfortunate.

John, please reference Goretzka pictures from January 2020 then. Then you will see the insanity of the transformation. Even if he had started his transformation in January, you can't tell me that a highly trained professional can pack on so much muscle in such a time period while still training for an endurance sport and doing it with a change in nutrition alone. And I don't subscribe to this theory because I want to put down the RS even more but it's just naive to think that stuff like this doesn't happen. I wouldn't even exclude the possibility that similar things happen at our club. These are just two examples that are very fishy.

Edit: And if it is true that Goretzka used some Mexican supplements then I find it incredibly irresponsible that his club promoted his physical transformation on social media etc. giving young fans (of which Bayern have a lot in Germany) the impression that this is attainable through 'legal' means.

feel for United in this David vs Goliath match up. Liverpool with an embarrassment of wealth up front (£200m+ spent) and United having to rely on Burnley loan players and home grown talent. I can see why they organised a plane to fly over before kick off, they really cannot compete with the mega spenders like Liverpool
