ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I think it's already looking extremely unlikely that they will get top four. But assuming it goes to 10 points, there's no way they'll claw that back with 10 games left to play. Let's say they pick up a bit and get 21 points from their last 10 games - it's then asking United and Newcastle to only get 10 points from their last 10 games, ie relegation form, and hope Brighton and Spurs tank. And, as I say, that's assuming the RS pick up in form.

The last two seasons they’ve finished with 8 wins and 2 draws in 10 games. They did the exact same in 20/21, they looked even worse than they do now, they’d just gone out to Real Madrid and Leicester and a United were miles ahead of them. They had Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams at the back and looked awful. Next minute they just reeled off 8 wins in 10 and came 3rd.

Never ever count them out. That’s why the Arsenal game is important, just don’t give them a boost to get on a run, just make it another game they don’t get a win in and one less to get to the points needed.

There fixtures are not bad in the run in wouldn't be surprised if they are in the mix at the end of the season.

They’ve got a lot of games at Anfield where they have a good record. If they beat Arsenal they’ll get a massive boost. It would take a lot for them to get it but they can’t ever be counted out until it’s mathematically impossible. We were all saying they were out of it in 20/21 as well as they were in the exact same position then just reeled off 8 wins and two draws in the final 10 games to finish third.

Agreed.

We just need Davek to come out and guarantee they won't get top four. Worked great last time...

They put 7 past United and that boost gave them 3 defeats
