ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The best thing to happen out of all this would be for the linesman to be punished. Robertson will forever be seen for the snide he is by all refs. He's the archetypal jovial lad when things are going Liverpool's way, but cannot stand it when he's being mugged off. I loved it. I can't stand him personally and he is v fortunate to have played in a v good Liverpool side. He's being found out now.

Martin Tyler today: "His contribution to the attacking game is simply sensational. Where does Klopp end up putting him?".

That's how the media deal with their failed "best RB in the world" declaration.

Never retreat. Never admit you got it wrong.
Tbf this is also a brilliant outcome from today's game. He looked lost when he was in a battle. He's not intelligent enough to make space for himself. But when Liverpool dominated the ball, he had a few good moments. He is exceptional with his passing, but he needs the above to be in his favour. If he thinks he can float about in a competitive midfield game, both he an Liverpool will be exposing themselves.

It was embarrassing how he did a cheap imitation of Guardiola’s tactic with Stones, and how it completely and utterly failed. He’s always been this sort of blert that just wants a headline or soundbite to show how clever he is. He’s a manager with one tactic, dope his players, and then when that doesn’t work he’s got nothing else apart from lumping it into the mixer and hoping for a lucky bounce
