I don't subscribe to this business of the Thursday night Europa games being disastrous for them - for the simple reason that they could quite easily win it and get an automatic CL place the following season from it, thus potentially rescuing another poor league season. If they miss top four I will still be concerned unless they finish sixth or below...

Establishment club doing establishment things.

The club could have stood with their customers….I mean fans, and refused to play another bloody dirge to go with the usual YMCA, but they have sided with the establishment and left their fans to rot - all on the customers now, and they will boo it en masse - clubs hands are clean, nothing to do with us you mr Maj! Disgraceful.

We may be enduring trying times toffees, but we will never, ever be them.
