It was great to see so many kids at the match on Saturday, loads in the paddock by me including My 12 year old grandson and 3 year old nephew.

In fairness what kind of a pull do Everton have? Nothing that a kid will look at and say "that's the team for me".. where as Liverpool have had success recently they are more often than not in the champions league.. I have a 7 year old who's only recently enough taken an intrest in Football, I tried my best to get him to support Everton, how was I supposed to do that? He figured out quickly enough that watching Everton is a chore.. I gave up in the end and told him he can support any team except Liverpool now I have a Manchester United fan at home..
Currently we just aren't a good team that Kids will enjoy watching/supporting.

Doesn’t matter mate am from Liverpool am a Everton fan my kid is a Everton fan my nephews are Everton fans. We might be crap but I would feel I had failed as a dad and an uncle if they supported that horrible Tory club across the park.

Yeah you only get two choices in this city you’re either blue or red. And if you’re red you normally become a massive whopper when discussing football. It’s strange really that you cant have a normal constructive football chat with a kopite.

The kids who’s family’s are blue will usually still pick Everton and the same with the red family’s. it’s the kids who’s parents aren’t interested in football will now pick liverpool.

What got me was the amount of people who where never interested in football suddenly became massive reds when liverpool got some success again the worst type of fans.

Our city is full of them,the women are usually the worst too(runs😂😂😂)
