ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

So the Halloween Pumpkin Danny Murphy reckons that defeat will give the RS "enormous belief". Belief of course that VAR is against them...Stockley Park is against them...the referee was biased and harsh against them with the cards.

Its about time referees got wise to their sly vindictive fouls. That Iota is one of the main culprits and frequently gets away with the quick kicks and digs. Hes not alone either...Arnold, Konate, Van Dyck and Jones are regular usual suspects. Hopefully the refs and their cards will start to be held high...up the reds.

Let's be honest here, haha, how many points do we or most sane people think, have Liverpool won thanks to var? On a side note the Pope will be giving an audience at three o'clock this afternoon....the Devil awaits the outcome.

They are insufferable… they get one decision against them (even though they are trying to claim both correct sending offs are wrong too) and football needs an overhaul…

Where were all these victims the hundreds of times they benefitted from corrupt decisions in their favour?
Van Dyke shouldn’t have gone either against Newcastle lol

Didn’t see them crying when they got the non pen against Bournemouth

Yes, but you're forgetting, they are everyone's second club, if not their first.

This hurts more (when it's them).
Funny enough I did some overtime this morning and I had the five live phone in on , a red from Norwich called in, Sutton asked why the fella didn’t support Norwich - the caller advised he did support Norwich as it’s his local team and that he also supports Liverpool.

In regards to all the drama ( also involes them doesn’t it ?) it’s mad how all these changes are now required as they’ve been the brunt off it.

Got us in a few weeks and although I expect nothing against them more than just living in hope you can see them getting something iffy going for them in the next few weeks.

The bit that gets missed is that it is not about the big, obvious, once in several seasons errors like the offside yesterday.

It's the constant 'soft' fouls given to certain clubs multiple times in a game and the fact that the bar for these fouls is higher for the rest of us. 'Big name' players going to ground almost force the referee to give the decision and they are not strong enough to say no. May not directly lead to goals but sways the game significantly in their favour.

All a big error like this and the incessant media noise around it does is make it even easier for refs to favour them in this way in coming games. Guaranteed that there will be multiple examples of the same challenge, holding, shoulder to shoulder contact etc. in the upcoming derby being refereed differently depending on the colour of the jersey.

So two get sent off - quite rightly, then the ref apologises on a VAR goal FGS - why are people afraid of them ?
Welcome to the world of EFC,those three decisions yesterday would have had identical outcomes if it had been us,don’t recall an apology to ourselves after a very similar”goal” by Demarai Gray at Leeds last season either.
