ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Trying to be impartial so I will say that goal was onside and the fact it wasn't properly checked is a weird thing.

However.... F them because they get them all the time.
in real time, it looked offside, in slow-mo, it wasn't, as you say, odd that it wasn't checked properly but this is added to the list of many reasons why VAR doesnt work for subjective decisions.

Mate, I even thought the first sending off was a bit dodgy. The screen they showed him made it out to be worse than it was. VAR is a joke. Funny sometimes but a joke. They were dying not to give DCL that goal yesterday.

nope, over the top of the ball is a straight red in todays game, if they had shown different views where it didnt look as bad and we would have been whining that they were being favoured. If the player was wearing a royal blue shirt there would be no debate.

Agreed but it looked to me like it slipped over. Regardless, the VAR shown to the ref was biased. If that was us we'd be raging. The fuuuuuuume is hilarious though
So he was reckless as to whether it would slip over the top or not? If it didnt slip over he was tackling with his studs first which is also frowned upon in today's game and players have been sent off without going over the top of the ball. I disagree with your last statement, it is the state of the modern game, like it or not. We have had players sent off for less violent incidents with less potential outcome (Alan)

So it was an accident. Sorry ref, it was an accident that I tripped the attacker up in our penalty area, so it's not a penalty.

Get real! It was an over-the-top tackle, and a straight red. If he was tackling for the ball properly, his foot would have been on the floor, not 'studs-up'.

It would appear you and I are disputing with a closet Kopite...

What I find amazing is that when a camera shows their player onside and a mistake is made, they entire RS and media seem to notice.

When multiple cameras show loads of RS climbing over the fences in Paris, as well as evidence of thousands of blag tickets they apparently behaved impeccably.
