ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

"irritated by the incident, the German declared: “If the person cannot stop himself then the fans around him must. It is not funny. Wow! How can something like this happen"
Eer? Have a guess, you gurning muppet!

Ha, he’s spent his whole time there whipping up the cult and then when one of them does something to disadvantage him he’s there asking how it could possibly happen. He’s one of the biggest hypocritical buffoons to ever manage in the prem.

Not one journo or pundit will call him out on it. Not one.

They didn’t call him out on his vow never to spend to get success. Then he spent a world record amount and won a pot, his hypocrisy went un noted. Now he’s back to moaning about how they can’t spend and the media are back lapping it up. He has them in the palm of his hand, and why not, the country’s media industry is largely propped up by Liverpool fans mindlessly reading about Liverpool. No wonder they fawn over him. They’d be out of a job otherwise.

snippet from an Echo article....

"Whatever the case and thanks to new goalkeeper Adrian's penalty heroics, the Reds are now once again the most successful club in English football in their own right with 46 'major trophies' won"

I wonder why they felt the need to put 'major trophies' in quotations....could it be because no one anywhere would consider this a major trophy!?
Plus the main article was about how Adrian came off his line for the Abraham penalty so basically saying they cheated but it means they are now the most successful team because of it. the irony
