ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Hughes one of the worst. Funny enough Smith for me is a little down my list that has Pinnocchio, Carragher, Case, Whelan and Souness ahead of him.

Smith apparently couldn't stand Hughes and was disgusted at his "tragic" rubbish after they won in Rome. The city came out in reasonable unity that night. Hughes drove a deep divide with his bs remarks and Smith was livid about that.

Until the day a blue grassed him up for doing a Peter Beagrie like celebration after scoring a penalty in a half time competition. So they've always over celebrated then.

Went a bit deeper, and murkier than that, apparently.

Do say more Roydo!!

I know Smith was advised at his RC school that RSFC would not be the normal for such as him when he was invited for a trial.

I don't think that was anything to do with the animosity by a lot of their players towards Hughes.

Tbh I think Hughes was just a bit lacking in the IQ stakes....His appearances on QofS exposed this regularly.

As a Christian I wish him peace in the world that he now inhabits.

I don't think Hughes will be getting much peace downstairs with Fred West, Jimmy Savile and Beelzebub for company.

Folks I am serious about my Christianity and btw I recognise my own constant failure to meet the high standards therein.

As a 12 year old Evertonian at the time that was so hurtful from Hughes.

Believe me a lot worse has been dropped on me since by those in whom I expected support.

Anyway, back to the subject.....
