ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Dont know why they even appealed, well obviously apart from been them, for me it was a Red

If he ended up with an additional game suspension for appealing it was only going to be Bournemouth. It was a risk worth taking for them. You don't get unless you ask, and with all thats gone on, no way was an extra game going to be tacked on. It would have sent things into meltdown phase.

I think he was slightly unfortunate in that I don't think he had any intent to do what he did, and he got the ball first, its just his momentum that took him through into Bissouma. But intent isn't part of the judgment process, and his momentum carrying him like that showed he'd lost control and loss of control is part of the judgment process especially when its studs first. Plus, after Gusto getting sent off for Chelsea just a few days earlier for pretty much exactly the same thing, it had to be a red.

A brief peep at Rawk to see how the pot boils; An extract from an off shoot thread from the Spurs game headed “ The Men in suits behind the scenes”
I refer you reply 3732 from the appropriately named “ has gone odd”
