ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The head var guy knew it was offside , his words were " it's good it's perfect " the referee thought he was judging the on field decision which was offside, he's supposed to be assisting the ref or the linesman not judging the quality of the pass by salah, all he had to say was onside or offside not glorifying in salah pass.
I've said in the past its completely arbitrary where the point is started from when a pass is made. That's not a science. There's no chips in these balls linked to a measuring device as far as I know. It's all guesswork.

IMO Diaz looked ahead of the last defender.

Good call for me.

Dave it wasn’t offside.

I just explained. I have no bother in dismissing VAR's starting point for when the ball is struck for that final pass. It;s bogus. Completely made up.

Diaz always looked offside in the earliest images.

You'd think it was a yard the way Murder Inc are crying about it. If it was ever onside - IF - it was by a millimetre.

They ain't even started. This will roll and roll
They won’t get another bad call/decision for ages now, and they won’t shut up about this, just like they still prattle on about Pickford and St Limpys leg.

The stupid thing is, I actually think this is the one genuine balls up/mistake by Var - the rest have been corrupt and match fixing imo.

No chance this goes down the road of a replay. They were down to 10 when the decision was made as well. How does that factor in?

Opens up a massive can of worms with everyone requesting a replay if a decision goes against them. I hope every team turn round and ask the same in games a poor decision has been made already this season.

If any team can force it then it would be them but it’s a disaster in the making for the FA. It’s already a disaster how much it’s been drummed up as you won’t see another decision go against them now for a very long time.

I'm also not that keen on the PGMOL releasing the audio to anyone .. talk about throwing your staff under the bus!

They should have also stood up and said we wont be engaging in any public dialog other than acknowledging the mistake, and issue an apology, which they did.

The fact that the Red Sh*te want their pound of flesh doesnt come as a surprise to any fan of any other football club but it shouldn't mean they get it.

Howard Webb doesn't come out of this well either as who would want to work for him if he does that to his staff (unless the money was good)

I don't know any referee copes with all that chatter in his ear all through the game.
