ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

As I mentioned before, maybe fans need to be more specific in their chanting or have a disclaimer banner held up during the chanting.

They would then not have this opportunity to be the moral victims and be so damned arrogant and condescending to other clubs.

If they love education so much, they can maybe partake in some education themselves, that the rest of the league and other sporting bodies can offer.
Some form of asterisk chanting if you will?

Re-educate this lot first before you get on your high horses....

Mocking Everton fans with a mass killing their fans perpetrated, and they still allow this tat in their ground every week.

Need to offer them some education before the next derby.

But it's not related to Hillsborough in any way, shape or form. It never has been and never will be. There's not one Evertonian who would sing it and think "I'll sing this because it's related to Hillsborough".
That's a very easy thing to say, but the chant is now associated with Liverpool fans and the media with Hillsborough. Meaning anyone who sings knows what the response would be, Liverpool football club calling out the chant and the the following fall out.

So it's very narrow minded to just keep saying "you don't understand it's nothing to do with that and never has been"

And really anyone who chants it directly at Liverpool fans know exactly why they are doing it. As an antagonist chant to cause upset.

So if your telling me that fans chant it because of Luis Suarez is talking absolute crap and you all know it.

And one last thing I have been a season ticket holder for 11 seasons and not once have I heard that chant in the stands. Because we all know if that was chanted they would be escorted out and rightly so.

Oh hello.
I agree mate.

They really are the victims and not at all guilty of trying to destroy the league as part of the Scab 6, habitual supporters of racism, responsible for banning of English teams from Europe due to their murderous fan base, perennial causes of mayhem and crowd trouble in Europe, etc...

Each of separate points are valid there is no debating that. That they did try greedily destroy English football with the failed attempt of the super League, they did cause the banning of multiple teams a chance of being in Europe due to Heysal, they did support Suarez when he racially abused Evra.

But I don't know how chanting that song will solve or cause any positive change. It is simply a chant that you and other fans believe is a cheap shot at Liverpool fans, because you know it causes upset and will trigger them because they immediately associate it with Hillsborough.

The thing is the super league will happen eventually and the fact people only objected because it was the top 6. But if they extended it to ten or twelve teams I guarantee fans will change their tune. Which regardless the amount of teams chosen it would destroy the English football pyramid.

Perhaps not kowtowing to your their fanbase every time they cry about every perceived injustice against their precious little selfs is just the necessary thing to do.

Find it strange being referred as a kopite, my dad went to Rotterdam and travelled home and away during the 70's and 80's even going to the other semi final in 89.

Me and two of brothers our season ticket holders and have been for many years.

So maybe when someone disagrees with you actually try and come up with some reasoned opinions instead of defaulting to a stupid "must be a kopite" routine

No mate, they've weaponised it because they cant stand being criticised; they've used their impressive media machine and media mates to change the narrative to avoid people saying nasty thing about poor old libpool fubbalclub. They know it is nothing to do with Hillsborough and it only became a thing after Evragate.

Welcome though fellow blue.

Do you mean 10 or 12 teams from England? If so it's going to a mega league not a super league. How many teams in total and how many games will each team play in a season? Any information would be welcome.

I would imagine 12 would be the limit, however my feeling would be 10 teams from England.

How many games a season depends on whether they keep the champions League or have an European league.

For the next 5-10 years they will keep the European competitions, too much to lose for UEFA in the short term.
