ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Seems to be a self perpetuating myth that one - he’s a very good shot stopped and a very good distributor. But he’s up there with the most clumsy mistake-prone keepers in the league. Could name 10 keepers I’d rather have.

I particularly liked the way the worlds best goalkeeper stopped that shot by allowing it to go between his legs and into the net……

It’s actually quite eye opening the rage in the mainstream media because they lost a game. No controversies to blame, just outclassed from start to finish, and the response is we have multiple pundits slamming Arsenal for celebrating a win, another load writing them off as having any chance of winning it, journalists calling out Arteta’s behaviour etc.

Very very disturbing, but that’s the world we live in now in the PL, they’re not supposed to lose games, the tv subscribers don’t like it, the sponsors don’t like it, the PL doesn’t like it, Pigmol don’t like it, and the mainstream media certainly doesn’t like it.

Carragher losing his head on twitter when they’re still top of the league and in 4 competitions after losing their first game in about ten years. Doesn’t take much for the mask to slip. Vile fanbase who show their true colours when it doesn’t go their way.
Always said that, they are the most entitled fan base in football, can't handle rivalry or people hating them or mocking them. Granted you have fans of all clubs who are sore losers including ours. But they are so sensitive to people insulting them, they can't tolerate criticism or any banter. It's why they make up lies about Hillsbrough gestures and link a chant invented in 2012 to Hillsbrough. There was some bell who of course came from Luton saying how awful Lutons chants were in the comment section of the Anfield Wrap. It's always someone else's fault, why is it never just we were beaten by the better side. The masks drops when they lose or don't win, just look at Klopps reaction when Rooney got a penalty at Anfield.

I know we have to put up with relentless arse licking across the media, but this from Glendinnng is a lovely palate cleanser...

"Having been part of a side that on at least one occasion reduced one of the world’s best goalkeepers and elegant, authoritative centre-halves to the status of epically hungover Sunday League cloggers..."
