ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Liverpool and Feyenoord have reached an agreement in principle over a compensation package for Arne Slot to become Jurgen Klopp's successor.

The compensation package is £7.7m, plus £1.7m in add-ons.

Hat's off to the RS a brand new manager, and getting nearly 9 million quid from Feyenoord!

I remember them playing before City about 8-9 games on the spin meaning the pressure was on City every single week. I'm sure it was the one where City won the league against Brighton (the season where Kompany scored that worldie against Leicester)

That's probably the closest Liverpool have come in a non-Covid season

Went down to the last game of the season and City were actually losing in that game at one stage too

We were away at Spurs that day I believe and the Nando's near Euston was full of Blues following the game talking about how they couldn't believe that LFC had blown it

They had a season a few years ago where almost every schedule favoured them over City. Can't be arsed going back and checking what season it was, and exactly how much in their favour it was, but I remember it well: Week in, week out, they had the bigger gaps between fixtures. I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers it.
And don't forget they almost always have the most time between kickoffs over the Christmas schedule.

Remember 2018-19 when they got 97 points and still didn't win it... that was unbelievable

Holding them to a goalless draw at Goodison proved the difference - they lost the title by a point

I’m loving the collapse these walts are going through …. Absolute bottle jobs the lot of them …. Inject this feeling into my veins
I reckon it’s going to get worse for them new manager different style of play no peds and the best right back in derrr werrrllddd being told to defend, this year was their chance and we denied them, I honestly thinkthey won’t be near title challenging next year.

Said it the other day, the RS arse licking journo’s will already be writing up all the crap about him and before we know it he will have invented this mythical type of footy and how how he was made to manage the RS, before you know it it will be on Klopp hysteria levels.
