He’s got one year left on his deal and will be 32. Unless Moshiri takes over a different football team, no idiot is paying 150 mill for Salah when they can get him to sign a deal in January to join in the summer for free. Salah knows as well that all he has to do is kick up a fuss and Liverpool have to sell him, they hold no cards here, every mill he can get off the asking price is another one on his signing on fee or salary.

A ruthless club would have sold him last season but Klopp wanted one last drugged up dance didn’t he

A good logical argument, but my instinct says they’re gonna get a ludicrous fee for him. Nothing to back it up, but have seen them get stupid fees for worse players with far less commercial clout than Salah. Can’t help but think they’re gonna clear up with their Saudi connections.
