Have you not seen the pressing in the arrivals hall at Manchester airport or the high intensity of the traffic queueing at the rocket from all the tourists coming in to watch their beloved redmen on a Tele in Matthew street? From 'This Is Anfield':
"Intensity has been Liverpool’s identity for almost a decade. The relentlessness of the Reds’ work off the ball has paid huge dividends, as well as accurately reflecting the city and fanbase the team represents."
I'm sorry, but wtf does that mean?
The utter BS these planks talk about the city of Liverpool being represented by Libpoolfootballclub.
How on earth is their pressing style (in reality their style is a hoof as much as ours has been cast) a reflection of the city of Liverpool?
The conflation of the manslaughter's with Liverpool the city is a common enough theme with them and their fawning media...but they cant even rationalise it.

Formed by Tories, owned by corporate sharks, supported by manslaughters and fruitcakes. This is the Orwellian narrative that they constantly peddle.
The slavish media, middle class u tubers, and their own tourist fans all suckered into the false belief that they somehow represent a left wing and proletarian
purity.
Never let the TRUTH, get in the way of a good story.
A club owned by American ( evil) billionaires and increasingly supported by well heeled tourists, a club that has demolished and destroyed the Anfield area, and has a very selective view of their own history. Liverpool based working class LFC supporters are increasingly forced to watch home games from the alehouse.
It needs calling out.
Two stories on BBC Sport this morning about their women's team beating Chelsea

….no intention of being cruel but it’s the Thursday Cup semi-finals tonight![]()
There's about 50,000 sq ft of office space in the Heals building on Tottenham Court Road. The landlord is a foreign fund which just spent a cool £100K on a branding agency to find ways to refresh the building's rather trad image. The big idea that £100K bought? Change its name from "Heals Building" to... "The Manufactory". Unfortunately, this proposed change has gone down like a cup of cold sick with one of the existing tenants. It's the site of Liverpool FC's London office. They went ballistic when they heard, making it quite clear they would never rent space in a building with Man U in the name. |
