Because of their influence on the various media channels it suits their agenda to constantly try to create a link between LFC and the City of Liverpool and try to be “the team of the city” even though their fan base is global.

I think it has become a deliberate communication strategy of theirs(club and fans) to try and undermine our move to BMD.
Our new stadium is going to generate lots of media interest and reflect well on the club as well cementing our place in the City.
That’s even before we get into the memories of Goodison Park that will be reinforced by the media during the 24-25 season.

They’re like vine weed, smothering everything in its path. They want the City to be solely for them with the murals, parades music events, journo arselickers and the big stand add ons every year. They are also getting angrier even when they they win. They invade the City centre from a Thursday until Sunday to watch the match in a pub ffs.
