I have only seen still images of the send off yesterday but it looks every bit as cringey and morbid as I expected.

On a side note, do we reckon Sky Sports will go out of their way to televise our final game next season if it’s a dead rubber at Goodison I wonder.

Will they give us the same fawning treatment for a ground with over 130 years history that witnessed a World Cup semi final and countless moments of monumental significance compared to some German who won the same amount of league titles as Claudio Ranieri?

I won’t hold my breath.

I just had a look back at the BBC match reports for their games from the West Ham onwards when the bust up with Salah and Klopp happened.

Their fans placed Salah bottom in the ratings in every one bar the Villa game...where they placed bottom of the ratings of those that started the game.

He hasn't been playing great but he did score two goals in those 4 games. The love affair with the Egyptian King is well and truly over. He's gone against the cult leader and won't be entertained by that lot again.

And did I see Van Dijk and Quansah laughing at Salah yesterday on the way back to the halfway line after their 2nd was put in by Quansah and Salah was asking them if it had gone over the line already from his shot? I think I did.

Hopefully they retain Salah next season as he'll be a wrecking ball in there. I cant see it though and reckon he'll be sold this summer.

My main issue with the new dutch manager is it's basically a free hit for them. Anyone following Klopp is on a hiding to nothing over there. I know the fans are delusional but those running their club aren't soft, this apointment was all signed and sealed a little too quickly for me. If this guy does well for them then they'll be happy enough, if not then they won't care as they'll have already taken the heat out of following Shipmann.

I reckon there could well be machinations going on to appoint his actual successor as we speak.

He was third choice behind Alonso and Amorim (which none of them want to admit). I think they’re waiting for Alonso but he was smart enough not to take the job post Klopp whilst the squad was cycling down. Slot will be the fall guy and then Alonso will be hailed as a Messiah and can start another doping programme no doubt similar to what’s occurred at Leverkusen. He knows the mentality of that cult better than most. I’m amazed the best manager in world football they could attract was some bloke from the Eredivise. Everyone who is anyone in football has given them a wide berth as they know exactly what the gig is in the short term there: good players (Allison Diaz) getting old or wanting out, a host of average players (Elliot Jones Endo Gomez Quansah Gravenberch) about to drop off a cliff performance wise, and a fan base so over entitled they won’t accept anything short of winning the PL or CL every season. You wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole if you had any sense about you.

So far, so good for me, avoided all news and sports channels, don't buy newspapers anymore, and swerved all RS I know.

In the garden, with Bob Dylan on the MP3 player.

Not going into town until at least Wednesday, by then most should have flown home.

The hysteria and rewriting of history, are par for the course with that lot.

Happy today and always , that I am not part of that demented cult.

They outdid themselves yesterday on the cringe-o-meter, what a glorious mess the entire “show” was. I was pissing myself all day.

They are a cult, the hyperbole around the fella is insane, and all this “he’s such a lovely, down to earth fella who doesn’t like the spotlight” guff takes the cake.

Look at the way Fergie handled his leaving of United compared to this lunatic - shippmanns made it all about himself for months and months, the narcissistic, egotistical gobshyte, yet they loony’s lap it up.

Bye bye and good riddance to Otto von pissmark, not the normal one at all.

He is the doping dummkopf.
