ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I normally don’t get involved in the TalkSport style arguments of who’s the 'bigger' club/who’s a legend etc. it’s all very 'my dad is bigger than your dad'.

This talk of Herr Klopp being a legend is the usual hyperbole when it comes to that lot. People classing him as a legend clearly are't using his trophy haul as the criteria, probably because the media are telling them that he is.

I was having this conversation with a kopite mate of mine last night. I said Klopp isn’t in the same conversation as Ferguson/Wenger/Mourinho/Guardiola who have maintained regular PL success over a number of years (or decades in some cases). He said anyone who wins the PL is a legend.

I asked him who won the PL with Blackburn.

*radio silence*

I take solace in the fact that some legends will be completely forgotten about in a few years time.

I just had a look back at the BBC match reports for their games from the West Ham onwards when the bust up with Salah and Klopp happened.

Their fans placed Salah bottom in the ratings in every one bar the Villa game...where they placed bottom of the ratings of those that started the game.

He hasn't been playing great but he did score two goals in those 4 games. The love affair with the Egyptian King is well and truly over. He's gone against the cult leader and won't be entertained by that lot again.

And did I see Van Dijk and Quansah laughing at Salah yesterday on the way back to the halfway line after their 2nd was put in by Quansah and Salah was asking them if it had gone over the line already from his shot? I think I did.

Hopefully they retain Salah next season as he'll be a wrecking ball in there. I cant see it though and reckon he'll be sold this summer.

It takes 2 to make a transfer otherwise we wouldn't be in the mess we're in. Salah can wait a year and get £75 million signing on fee, why would he go and let the rs get that money instead?
