ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

He's a very good player. It is interesting that he has score more league goals since January over the wide array of strikers such as Aguerro or Lukaku or Aubamayang. But I see that as damning towards the strikers but credit to him, I'm surprised a big team like Real haven't sniffed around him
Oh for sure he is absolutely world class. I’m also surprised no one has come
In for him.

Was out on Allerton Road last night having a drink with the missus. She hates football so we went to a bar that didn't have the match on, but we still couldn't avoid them. There was a group of 6 sitting by us (3 couples) all in their 60s/70s so you'd think they'd know better. They were obviously following the match on their mobiles and I gathered City had scored the winner from their reactions and choice of language. You should have seen them when it was subsequently disallowed though. You'd have thought they'd just won the league, punching the air and slapping their thighs.

Embarrassing.

LFC so lucky yesterday. Hopefully it'll turn and their backsides will be bitten before long.

Waited a full season last year for their luck to turn...it never did... but for an incredible Man City run they'd have won the PL & CL double...
City played amazing yesterday and dropped points, Liverpool got let off the hook in their game.. It's just the way it seems to be...

And the they would have also been the new 'Invincibles' - just doesn't bear thinking about does it?
Over the full length of the season I still fancy us to be ahead of Liverpool at the end of it.
A draw against Spurs at home this early in the season is hardly the end of the world.
It was the manner in which we dropped the points that is disappointing.
Let them celebrate winning the league this early as this - they always do. They can't help themselves.
It's wonderful to watch when they have the tee-shirts printed and the coach parade organised only
for it all to be conveniently forgotten at the end of the season...

Yep without tempting faith, Ye just have too much quality through your team, and if DeBruyne stays fit this season he's untouchable.... I do worry about ye defensively though, amazed a top centre back wasn't brought in to replace Kompany
