Maybe I've missed something, but as far as I can see the two sides are just in stalemate, each trying to see if they can buy the other side out. As things have improved on the pitch the focus on them being the crisis club du jour moves onto someone else, but its just waiting to be re-ignited. I'm thinking its pretty much guaranteed that if they lose 3-4 in a row, there will be a lot more focus again on the dispute. My assumption would be that their financial modelling requires them to get into the CL places. So if they fail in that again, thats another reason this could kickoff once more.

Anyway, this is the RS thread, not a Chelsea one.. so I'll leave it at that.

Why. Are you blind. Can you not see how good they are? They are not even getting the help of refs and VAR, yet they obliterate anyone they play.

Tell me - if we were in the position they are in, would you not be excited, think we were something special....expect to be challenging for every trophy at the end of the season? I certainly would be!

Oh I agree. I hate them as much as anyone on here, and I would laugh my ass off if they won **** all. I hope Im wrong about them winning stuff., I really do...but everything this season just seems so aligned for them. When Klopp left we all celebrated, they cried. Well look at them now the lucky buggers. Always fall on their feet.

Then inevitably, after Xmas, the wheels starting falling off of the bus... It'll happen again this season. Mark my words. ;)

The rs have degraded as well. They had Salah, Mane and Firminho up front with a peak Van Dijk with Matip at the back, and Henderson in the middle. They're nowhere near as good now, but everyone else is weaker.

And they're still obsessed with us. Every BBC Sport article about us is full of them in the comments section, and all the supposedly funny WhatsApp messages they send me...

Mention anything about their horrid past though, and you've crossed the line and are bitter as F

I'm convinced now. No need to tighten the nuts on the wheels on this quad. They are a shoe in.
