ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Dara Ó Briain (tourist RS tell's 'locals' to vacate Kop, so more tourists can create ' a better atmosphere' at Analfield.

This is why I hate out of town RS so much. The reason why they're so despised is they aren't proper fans, our non Scouse fans support us, whether we win, lose or draw we don't go missing when we struggle. They aren't proper fans, they support RS because it's easy to do so.

Yep spot on.

Hate they way they wander lost around town, 48 hours before the game kicks off, all dressed in RS cack.

Weird bell-ends.

Think them and Utd are the worst for them type of supporters. There's loads of them and they support them because it's easy.

Clubs like us, Villa and Newcastle have fans that are either from the city or a good reason why they support the club.

London clubs a bit different but usually again a reason behind the support.

I was watching a vlog of Rangers fans in Greece and you had quite a few who were English. But they're fathers were Glaswegians. You will get same with Celtic fans. If somebody supports Wolves and comes from Wales, so what they aren't glory hunters. I've met Slovakian West Ham fans. Supporting RS is a bit like supporting Oakland Raiders or LA Lakers it's just a fashion statement. I remember when RS were doing crap under Rodgers, you never got as many daytrippers as when RS improved.

TBF even Scouse RS are pretty bad when it comes to pointlessly wearing RS gear, when they aren't playing five a side or going match. I've seen RS in pub wearing scarves to watch them on TV.

I don’t think I have a ‘good’ reason for supporting Everton! Grew up on the east cost, neither of my parents were into football. I just remember watching a match on TV when I was a kid and decided to support the team in blue.

It was the 1-1 draw at Anfield in 88/89 when Wayne Clarke scored a pen.

Grew up and moved over to the north west first chance I got. Does that make me a wool or a plastic?

Maybe they stop flying in soon if this is anything to go by ...

There's one near me, that I only found out about a few weeks back. It mostly shows just US sports like NFL and the college sports with the odd PL game thrown in almost at random. From what I've heard though its pretty gash for PL games as either the view is way too far zoomed out, or zoomed in on the wrong area. Maybe that will get better over time after they do more PL games, but as I remember the cost is about $80 per game, plus obviously food and drinks on top. I might try it in the New Year to confirm for myself, but I don't see it being a better solution to watching a game at home without having to listen to others, and with food and drink considerably cheaper. Obviously being able to be at the stadium is best, but the cost of flights etc make that difficult to do often.

Be decent to watch a bluey on like.

I was giving Spanish classes to an old Irish couple. The old guy, Cahal, was a Wolves fan from when they were big in the 50s. He'd stuck with them through all the rough times for almost 70 years though.

Can't imagine many out of towners coming to watch the rs if they go so much as a decade without a sniff.
