ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

UEFA didn't instruct Liverpool & Atletico to play behind closed doors.

You know when fans sing 'Always the victim' and you all pounce on it saying it's about Hillsborough? Well, it's because there's countless examples of things just like this were as a club, you never, ever take responsibility for anything and blame everyone else. Drop a paving slab on someone's head? It's the 3rd world countries court system to blame. Racially abuse someone? It's that black person who hasn't quite grasped the context.

You are right about one thing though. Every other football fan is indeed praying the season gets null and void despite the horrible circumstances. Because we'll all get some light relief by laughing in your stupid, deluded, irritating faces.

I think the league getting cancelled would have made me give up football. Because I know that it would not get more hilarious than that, just to see their faces drop. The whole club would have had a mental block about winning it especially after last season and Slippy G 5 years ago. I could quite happily walk away knowing the pain it has caused them.

I would be ecstatic if Everton won the Premier League or the Champions league and would probably need a new liver about a fortnight after it. I'm also a realist in that we probably wont win either while the Cartel of the G14 and FFP is in operation to keep us out of it.

They would also know what missing out on something feels like when we were robbed of the European Cup in 1986 and we never recovered. You know where you can shove your Steaua Bucharest flags.

Another thing that makes me laugh is that Michael Shields stuff. Ok so he managed to get away with it yet everyone seems to know who the real culprit was yet nothing has happened to him or he hasn't even been hauled in and questioned. None of the "top reds" who go "home and away" have ever had a word with him. Just a big open ended mystery for 15 years.

Meanwhile some Bulgarian waiter who was minding his own business nearly got killed and has had life changing injuries.

They know it’s not about hillsborough, they say it is to try and win every argument. It’s the footballing equivalent of the race card and it’s absolutely disgusting.

The families of the people that lost their lives are ashamed of the skiprats that say that, every single derby they don’t win they say our fans sang about it en masse.

I'm sure the English teams following that game refused to travel to their games.

May be wrong but I'm sure united pulled out of their game

We sent all our staff home from Finch Farm Friday morning and said we weren’t playing Monday, less than 12 hours after the PL made a statement saying all games were going ahead at the weekend. It was also before the PL changed there mind and called them off later that day.

We took it upon ourselves to protect our players and staff regardless of the consequences.

Liverpool thought they were getting another famous European night so put all our health at risk by allowing 3000+ people from the city where the virus was increasing and killing more rapidly than any other city in the world, to come here. They weren’t even allowed out in groups in Madrid at the time but no, Liverpool couldn’t have called it off. It was all someone else’s fault.

I don't really understand this Micheal Sheilds case either, anybody who knows anything about the police and the politicians in the Balkans and Eastern Europe would know that they generally don't like much attention. It's highly unlikely in my personal opinion that the police would have arrested him unless they thought he was involved in the case and had information, it's not like somewhere like Thailand or the South American countries where they are quite happy to lock foreigners up. Also as you say nobody else has been arrested for the crime, surely somebody would of come forward and said it was this guy or that guy to free a "innocent red", but nobody has. Unless the guy who did it is involved with some crime family or something like that, I can't believe nobody ever gave information of who actually did it. My belief is that Micheal Shields was involved in the case, because Eastern European countries simply don't have the money to keep people locked up for that long, that's why in a lot of prisons in Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia etc, they let inmates go home at the weekend or do outside jobs because they can't afford to keep them. It's always to me been incredibly fishy to me, that the Bulgarians would risk getting into trouble with the UK or EU, who they rely on heavily to lock up an innocent person.

There is supposed to be some lad "who defo did it". I can remember playing Sunday league footy and he was sent off for racist abuse (top red). Then loads of people saying it was defo him who did it but no one has even given anonymous tip off to the police to get him questioned and he still manages to walk around and still be employed.

I can imagine the police there to be dodgy but it just seems OTT that there would be this level of conspiracy involved and for the alleged perpetrator to just walk around Liverpool without any repercussions.

I think Bulgaria had just joined the EU so doubt they would have wanted the attention.

That Sue Johnston actress one soon shut up when he got home, the "campaign" trail was all about Shields, meanwhile the scumbag who did it has probably enjoyed "der mighty redmens"latest triumphs, they make me sick.

Exactly.

But the thing is that it doesn't really make sense why nobody gave any information on him, as that would be the easiest way out. Even if they'd simply said he was the nearest to the incident, also there was a documentary about it where his family to be fair said they knew the people Shields went with were troublemakers, I don't know why the family didn't put pressure in the media for them to hand themselves in. I'm not saying Shields was or wasn't innocent, just from having family in the Balkans and knowing how lazy the police are, it seems unlikely they would of bothered to make a big deal out of it if they didn't think he was almost certainly involved with it. As I said unless the lad was somebody connected with serious crime and people were afraid of him, it don't really make any sense why he wasn't turned in. If they are gonna arrest somebody falsely, surely they'd want to bring the right person the justice. Anyway thanks to coronavirus Bulgarian waiters, innocent people around fountains, Italian football supporters and Black and Asian people will be safe from the lovable rogues and their shenanigans for a least a few weeks.
