It's cos it hosts 50,000 parasites and then despite being cleaned they return every other week.
 

The worst thing that could ever happen is the league being voided. While we would find it funny initially, can you imagine the outcry from them. It would last for DECADES. The "denied champions", the miscarriage of justice. Seriously, it would be awful. Just end the season, give them the effing trophy so they can be tainted champions, and get on with next season.

Exacty this.
Award them the title. Then have not 'won' it they have beem 'awarded it'. So they will still have never 'won' the PL in its own right.
It will be a tainted, hollow, meaningless 'award'. Fans at every single game, home and away, week in week out will remind them of it and bait them over it. It would be pure gold! You are bang on the money regarding the outcome if it is null & void. It will just be another thing they can constantly harp on about how they were cheated out of it. How they were the victims of a global pandemic that cut them down in their prime. Wash, rinse, repeat for ever and ever.
So, give them an 'award' and we can all laugh at them forever.

Fine by me. The media would maintain the outcry forever.

Let them have it. No parade. No pilgrimage to see the open top bus. Just a party popper and a can of lager for each at home. All those flares and flags will need to go into storage for another 20 years...
