What’s truly shameful is that it wasn’t the principle they had a problem with, they reversed because they couldn’t deal with the bad publicity. There’s nothing they care about more than media attention. Nothing. They’d sell every single one of their fans down the river if it guaranteed them a bit longer in the media limelight.

already happened Lou, pretty much every single outlet and pundit "credit where its due they've sorted it so let's get back to kissing their arse as before"

No surprise, its been done time after time after time after time after time after time.

Yes, spot on. Their followers who were not happy with it did not care one bit about who was paying to whom, they only cared about how they may have been percieved in the media or by real football fans.
 


You couldn’t make it up. The RS taking the morale high ground after their original decision backfired terribly. The media wanting the likes of Newcastle and Spurs to ‘follow’ Liverpool’s example and reverse their decision.

Thing is neither Newcastle or Spurs need to do anything, different clubs.
For me the main point about Liverpool was the fake socialist image they think they have, we know they are Tory and this is another example to confirm it.
Spurs and Newcastle dont pretend to be anything other than what they are.

Ah but did you know that Liverpool sing a song which lifts the morale of the country, supports the NHS (without giving them any much needed actual support) and also proves Liverpool's socialist ties even though they were founded by a conservative politician of the orange order?
