So if they’re run by an outside staffing agency then they’re not club employees are they? A terrible state of affairs and shouldn’t be happening but in the stupid world of business I’m not sure there’s a huge amount the club can do about that. The club has however said they will not be furloughing any of their own staff.
The stadium also definitely isn’t going to bring around about a billion pounds (last piece I read) into the local economy so isn’t worth the £705,000 at all really is it? I’d also like the author of that post to explain to me how turfing people out of their homes to build a stand that has somehow ruined the skyline in an unfortunately rundown area that doesn’t actually have a skyline has benefitted the city?

How do you know they are a tinfoil hat wearing wool? I haven’t got a clue who posted that but it doesn’t make a difference anyway, that screenshot was shared on Facebook and Twitter and now Mayor Anderson is being badgered about it. So i’d say it’s fairly relevant, wouldn’t you?
I’m not defending any argument, I’ve just said in the post you quoted that it’s a flimsy argument, given what’s just occurred.

Just recalled something else he said when prompted on the season being voided.
He said there is no timescale on how long a football season is. We should play it to a finish when football gets the go ahead to resume. If the 20/21 season can't start until November, so be it.

Christ knows. Probably fair to assume you’d get a much faster response from a tweet to the Mayor than an email to any generic business email inbox.
If the Mayor is commenting on LFC furloughing staff and is crediting himself with playing a role in the reversal of that decision, then he’s probably a good place to start with other prominent businesses in the city allegedly furloughing staff.
