ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They have 'previous' across the park for treating their 'legends' like muck don't they?
Just look how Mr. Shankly was treated, until they airbrushed his banishment from their history.
Can you imagine us ever telling HK he wasn't welcome at Goodison?

They never told him. They just stopped inviting him and sending him tickets knowing he'd be too humble to ask.

I never knew about the Shankly thing until I read it on here.
I bet loads have no idea either.

Even worse is their club secretary when Shankly took over... he was given no staff, not even his own secretary and had to sort the mail, find ways to make the black payments to players fit the books, organise contracts, players tickets you name it.

He slept in the office most nights and eventually hanged himself under the kop.

Who remembers him?

I genuinely believe Garth Crooks could have suffered a brain injury and nobody has noticed for the absolute gibberish he has consistently spoken over the years.
Don,t know where, don,t know when, but in his interviewing days with bbc he asked a manager when his star striker missed an open goal from six yards out. And i quote,, " Do you think he,ll be dissapointed with that?".. (JAYSUS!!)

It may not of been Goodison, but David Moyes didn't allow Howard to visit Finch Farm after it opened in 2007. It wasn't until Martinez took over in 2013 and invited him down did Kendall first get to see the inside of our training ground.
