ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I never knew about the Shankly thing until I read it on here.
I bet loads have no idea either.
16th March 1977, special Anfield night against St Etienne, a match they consider to be one of there greatest nights of the era. That night Bill Shanks went to Hilsbourgh to watch Everton play Villa in the cup replay.
That's my favourite trivia piece that !!

I seen a comment from a kopite saying Everton are using agencies and other companies to furlough there staff for them haha, they just can't compute the fact that they work for a separate company sub contracting to the club,

For the lurkers, they don't work for Everton, they work for sodexo who sub contract to Everton just like they will to other clubs and venues, sodexo decide which staff work where, anyone who is on Evertons payroll have not been furloughed, you horrible Tory rats
A bit harsh mate on rats,,

Even worse is their club secretary when Shankly took over... he was given no staff, not even his own secretary and had to sort the mail, find ways to make the black payments to players fit the books, organise contracts, players tickets you name it.

He slept in the office most nights and eventually hanged himself under the kop.

Who remembers him?
God, i hope Aldo is alright.

Even the most recalcitrant sinner can come into the fold once they see the light.
Like it mate, on the day Shankly rose from the dead... Easter eggs and weaths will be in abundance all over the show for only the ones who remember who he was. Think that rules out Norway and most of Asia.
