In that case, why is having "No fenians here" also not funny?
Well I mean one is an inherently sectarian statement from a club that didn't sign Irish Catholics.

I've struggled just recently with getting up - so I'll stay up laterI get up earlier so I can hate them for longer.
You're only bitter if you hate them more than you should...and that's not possibleI never thought is possible to detest anyone or anything more than I do my ex-wife. The RS have really surpassed that now.
I look forward to getting up in the mornings so I can hate them more than I did yesterday.

Are not both signs very offensive?
Because it's a sectarian insult. In that case, why is having "No fenians here" also not funny?
Henry Winter claiming voiding the season would be a surrender.
No you moron is an a necessary measure taken in a pandemic. Social distancing is not a surrender, working from home is not a surrender, restricting travel is not a surrender.

My sister, a match going blue, is a nurse in Alder Hey. Some red who she works with every now and then was saying about how voiding would be unfair and the usual jargon.
She said to him that she couldn't believe his concern was a football trophy after all he has seen and is seeing. Her friend died at Arrowe Park hospital a couple of weeks back so she was about ready to throttle him.
His response, "well you wouldnt really get it." When pressed on was it in reference to Everton or being a woman he walked off.
Thought she was from Oswestry but never mind aye hahaIs she? Thought she was from Shrewsbury. She was very pretty back in the day anyrate.

What was ridiculous about it, was that at first they said he didn't say it at all, but then used cultural context as an excuse. I didn't know half caste was offensive, but since I found out it was offensive I stopped using it. Yes it's true that people in Latin America define people's nickname based on race, names like guero, guerito, blanco, blancito for a Caucasian person, names like negro, negrito, negra and mayate for Black people and things like chino for an Asian person, some people are referred to as Indians if they are of indigenous stock. However we all know that in the middle of a Liverpool v United game, when 2 players are arguing that continually calling a opposition player a little black person would be offensive. I highly doubt Suarez would of walked through Peckham using it.
Spot on. They have so many people following them who cant seem to get that through their 'kin heads, even after all the tragedies attached to that club. This whole war language being used by the media and politicians is horrible and misguided.
Describing NHS staff as heroes and in a battle is wrong. They wouldn't be dying or need to be so self-sacrificing if they had proper PPE and more staffing. They're professional who signed up to care, not lay their lives down.
The "battling spirit" of Boris Johnson for surviving Coronavirus is wrong too. It assumes that people who did die were cowardly or weak.
A number of older people also talk bollocks about the "blitz spirit" and would carry on as normal. Well you're acting like the fecking Luftwaffe if you go spreading it around by carrying on as normal.
RS bollocks about "football is more important than life or death" or "this means more" has never seemed so hollow.
