ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

The point I am making is the first response wouldn't of been "hasn't he done this before" as Dalglish said according to the FA commision report - which was illegal

It would have been:

To take it seriously
To investigate
To if evidence showed inappropriate behaviour to discipline the involved

I also think Everton would have asked for a closed doors hearing and not made ANY public comment until after.

And if wrong doing was shown you bet it would be taken seriously.

Like I said, our fans would stand for nothing less.

No t-shirts. No grandstanding the media. No petitions etc

I agree. Dalglish has a lot to answer for. If Moyes (or any Everton manager) had acted like him I would be calling for his head. Why aren't LFC fans doing the same?

I just feel that Dalglish has more to do with what went on between Suarez and Evra than some people think. ;)

I would certainly pay a penny for John Henry's thoughts.

We received expert evidence as to the use of the word "negro" in Uruguayand other areas of Latin America. It is often used as a noun to address people, whether family, friends or passers-by, and is widely seen as inoffensive. It is inoffensive when its use implies a sense of rapport or the attempt to create such rapport. However, if it were used, for example, with a sneer, then it might carry negative connotations. The Spanish language experts told us that if Mr Suárez said the things Mr Evra alleged, they would be considered racially offensive in Uruguay and other regions of Latin America.

After it comes out that he has admitted to using the word "negro" these thick arseholes are still trying to defend him

Should have heard some of the bile coming out of there mouths in mine last night "hes got a black grandad lad" "his wife calls him negro" hahaha idiots

I hope they appeal and target Evra as a troublemaker...and have all the pc organisations who they'd normally love to have onside lining up to criticise them.

Glorious moment in Merseyside football history this is. The pompous tvvats all over the place looking like the Waffen SS.

What I dont get davek is that he has admitted to using the word "negro" and even a fool would no that in a game like lpool vs utd friendly doesnt come into it,so how can they keep defending him

If you where a black liverpool supporter what would you be thinking of your great club?

As the report nailed, he made the concession that he'd used the word negro as he thought one of the cameras caught him saying it.

I dident know that Chico

So did he think he had already been caught and thought that if he came clean the would go easy on him?

It's in there lid, I can't remember the exact wording but it says that he admitted use of the word negro because he thought the cameras would catch him and tried to play on that he was using it in a conciliatory fashion.

The committee were having none of that like and rightfully so. He's been shown up to be a snide and a liar.

Wow so the lad lied through his extremely large teeth

Would love to know where the whole Negrito thing came from

"... a snide and a liar."

Sums it up as far as I can tell too. He was trying to get Evra sent off by provoking him. That only makes things worse really.

Trying to go about this with a degree of magnanimity but it's hard. I initially felt point-scoring over one player abusing another was cheap but it's nice to see the rest of the world is waking up to what we've known for decades.. that Liverpool Football Club is a putrid institution who think they are above everyone else and will **** on anyone they want, including their own.
