Thats the delightful thing about it - the inaction of the club against Suarez (or rather, their active support in favour of him) will leave them wide open to legal challenge when it comes to the inevitable lifetime bans that those fans will recieve if they get convicted.

Unless I'm missing something - Suarez's charge is an FA charge and wasn't reported as a criminal offence whereas the fan one was.

Don't see why what I said was so unreasonable. End of the day I heard racial abuse at the United game at GP (and no it was wasn't from me before you start Davek ffs). If that was picked up then we'd all have our names dragged through the mire. I think we're smart enough to know that a few idiots don't make up an entire fanbase, and I'm not going to use one moron to try and hate on Liverpool even more.

I assume it's because the fan one is so blatant whereas there's always going to be that 'no evidence' cause for defence when it comes to Suarez.

I wouldn't say their reaction has been racist, it's just been stubborn and naive. It's sort of like the whole 'video games encourage violent crime' argument in the sense that it's solely your fault for being as stupid as to think that that would make racism acceptable.
