Aldridge doesn't seem to have any obvious disfigurements so not likely there
And the anti hillsborough chants were the 'always the victim' chants that I heard clearly in our end
Aldridge doesn't seem to have any obvious disfigurements so not likely there
And the anti hillsborough chants I think he's referring to are the 'always the victim' chants that I heard clearly in the away end
I'm referring to his continued attempts to try and tie Howard Webb to South Yorkshire Police somehow and this being some sort of reason Liverpool 'don't get the decisions from him in big games (sic)'
Its scandalous.
Defamation
Any intentional false communication, either written or spoken, that harms a person's reputation; decreases the respect, regard, or confidence in which a person is held; or induces disparaging, hostile, or disagreeable opinions or feelings against a person.
He's mentioned this twice on air working for Radio City 96.7 city sport. This is the second time.
They began talking about today's referee being from Sheffield and laughing.
Got nothing to do with anything.
The FA need to get on him big time.
Seriously??? Aldridge is very much small fry, outside of radio city the only real exposure he gets is hanging around anfield when something happens in the hope sky give him a couple hundred quid for a chat. Highly doubt anyone cares about what he says, he's in the paddy crerand league of irrelevant bs
If I were Howard Webb and heard some of what Aldridge is saying and continued attempts to try and tie him to Norman Bettison and company,
then there would be no messing. FA. Lawyers the lot should be thrown at him.
Howard Webb was 17 years old at the time of hillsborough. Nothing to do with it.
The way Aldridge is going on you'd think he's involved in a conspiracy against them.
Ridiculous behaviour from Aldridge.
Aldridge would do well to keep his mouth shut.
Save the venom for the ones actually involved in 1989.
Otherwise people just will not take them seriously coming out with **** like he's coming out with.
Oh I agree but as I said he's largely an irrelevance in the grand scheme of things
John Aldridge was just on the radio a second ago.
How the owners have to 'invest' in January and dig deep (Brendan has spent over £90million) and that Mourinho was 'losing the plot on television'.
They really are something else.
Aldridge just then said the Ref ( Howard Webb ) he's said time and again 'never gives Liverpool the decisions in big games'
He's just effectively repeated the Webb/Yorkshire Police connection as bias by innuendo. He previously said that.
Then they both joked about their referee today as being from 'Sheffield'. Lots of laughter from them.
Disgusting.
Now talking rubbish about Mourinho losing the plot. About the number of the Liverpool ex players in the media.
Aldridge showing exactly what the situation is right there.
Its outrageous and its not just once he's said this. He was saying today 'people will remember what I've said about him (sic)' ( Webb ).
Doesn't matter if its a local radio station or not.
Aldridge would do well to keep his mouth shut.
Save the venom for the ones actually involved in 1989. Where there actually was a conspiracy.
Otherwise people just will not take them seriously coming out with **** like he's coming out with.
He's an idiot. Webb was still a kid in school at that time.

It's been long established that the "always the victim" chant isn't about Hillsborough. It's about Liverpool FC's seeking of matyrhood in general (everything basically, apart from Hillsborough). Kopites insisting it's about Hillsborough is a further confirmation of their matyrdom fetish.
Think about it, lad. Evertonians lost family too that day, you know.
Can remember it being sung by man united fans and ferguson and gill apologising afterwards as they felt it was referring to hillsborough.
And in fairness it's a fairly ambiguous chant, definitely some will be referring to hillsborough when it's being sung and you can see why some may take it that way
