My new years resolution is to ignore LFC as much as possible

Impossible mate. I've tried doing this before many times. I thought I'd cracked it a few years ago as I moved to Boston, ma. Then ****ing Henry (boston red sox) goes and buys them. Ffs!!!

I really can't express how much I ****ing hate the ****s

Chelsea fan nailing why there's so many ex LFC player pundits in the media, and why their fans infest other sites arguing black is white etc:

“”Let me try and explain . They are too far gone. And quite simply, that means they are too far away from truth, reality and knowing how to have a good time.”

Interesting analysis. As this Chelsea supporter clearly knows all Liverpool supporters, then it must be founded in rational, logical research...... Nah. Panders to our prejudices about much of our neighbours' behaviour, much of which can be evidenced by links, videos and comments on this thread and in the wider media. However, he comes across a bit like a football-supporting Boris Johnson and is creating an archetypal Liverpool supporter that will fit the different elements of his analysis. I wonder what the same writer's attitude was to the FSW managing his beloved team?

So, in summary, some good points but people would be unwise to think that this is Gospel.

It's bang on the money IMHO. Most of what you've written doesn't make sense. He isn't 'creating an archetypical supporter' he is summarising them as a collective which he has done both creatively and accurately.

Worth another watch! Wow, just wow. They're very, very 'different'.

It wasn't boardman who said the rape thing though, it's someone I'd hoped would've ben slightly more rational.

Gets more cringe worthy with every viewing

It actually makes me slightly embarrassed for being from Liverpool, which is what pisses me off the most about it (other than McCulloch's idiotic "rape" comment).
