I know a couple of years ago oldham still had quite a few lads at it in their 40's. it wouldnt surprise me if they had got together for a day out against the premier team and on of them has come unstuck. From what i know about Oldham they would have had quite a few looking for trouble. still no excuse to stab someone.

Liverpool FC fans will organise a march, the club will give the fans its backing, Phone Jack Straw and he'll get the lad free. Then, rather than concentrate on finding justice for the poor fella in hospital, by backing a search to find the real attacker, they'll just pat themselves on the back for a job well done, and give him a free match ticket......

I look through other teams forums from time to time. On a hull one they were saying, leaving anfield last week the windows on 1 of the buses were put in. Two people had to be taken to hospital.

I think it is very sad, I just hope its a small minority who are quickly rounded up and dealt with. More importantly though I hope our fans are not "tarred with the same brush" as Liverpool fans.
I am also a little concerned about The Derby on the 28th January, its going to be at 8pm on a Tuesday night, so even those who are in work will have a good 3 hours drinking before kick off.........
