Nevin's speaking from personal experience. I think it was a game in 88 there where he got wiped out and nothing was given. I was agog. Does anyone has a video of it per chance.

it was the first fa cup game mate before the 4-4 Replay if memory serves me right. We drew 0-0 at the pit and it was as stonewall pen as we are ever likely to see. I was only about 10 years old but that sticks in my head that plus we played really well.
