Why did Stevie Me have to announce that he's made a £96,000 donation to the Hillsborough fund? Fair play for donating less than a weeks wages but why announce it to the world?

Did the same thing with his testimonial mate. You can't knock him for helping charities out but he is trying to clean his image u ahead of the court battle I guess

Stevie me is about as selfless as something that's not very selfless. Everything he does is to try and clean up his image or rally the troops against dose mongrul evertonians.

I don't doubt he does a lot for charity but why announce it? It should be compulsory anyway given how much he earns.

Yeah I was a little irked by that too.

Call me cynical, but I'd rather keep the donation of half my weeks wages to myself. Again, I don't want to cause any offence here but £96k is the equivalent of us finding some change down the back of the sofa.
